STRAUB STARTS PLAYING AT NINE O'CLOCK!

Here's another gig with Karl Straub opening for Jumpin' Jupiter. It's Saturday, Nov. 27 at JV's, part of the JV's ongoing anniversary celebration.
This gig is special for another reason. Normally at JV's I play with the Jumpin' Jupiter rhythm section. That's happening this time too, but for a few songs we'll switch it up with guest drummer Antoine Sanfuentes, and Pat Cavanaugh will join us as well. This will be a low-key foreshadowing of the band the four of us are putting together-- Pat and Jimmy Cavanaugh, plus me and Antoine. Although, I have to admit, holidays have distracted me and I never really confirmed this with Jay, or the other principals, so maybe it won't actually happen.

The uncertainty should add a spicy layer of tension to the gig, though, which you won't want to miss. Come and experience the nail-biting, clock-ticking, pulse-pounding suspense, along with the usual beers, booths and barstools that constitute the familiar backdrop for these gigs. FLAME ON!
